Dani surviving leukemia, turning 60, getting engaged.

Boulder, Colorado -- December 5 to December 13

The new floor are in at the house.
Just needs a little paint, kitchen cabinets, etc. ...

Trip 16 -- 2023
Boulder, Colorado -- November 8 to November 15

Visited with friends and some work on the house.
It was time for the big Fall cleanup.

Trip 15 -- 2023
Boulder, Colorado -- October 18 to October 25

Hiked Mount Sanitas. Beautiful weather.
More work on the house. Walls are back in. Flooring is next.

Trip 14 -- 2023
Boulder, Colorado -- September 27 to October 4

Barry and Paula were in Boulder when I arrived.
Enjoyed a little time in Denver with them.
More work getting the house back together after the burst frig line.

Trip 13 -- 2023
Boulder, Colorado -- September 6 to September 13

Boulder was still so green even as Fall approached.
Grasses along the Flatirons were very tall.
Visited with friends and hiked some.

Trip 12 -- 2023
Alaskan Coast -- August 28 to September 4

Cruised with the Alaskan coast Barry, Paula, Cole, Tess, Sam, Dani and Alex, and me.
What a great trip. We had lots of family time together including some spectacular meals.
We celebrated my 60th Birthday, Barry and Paula's 30th wedding anniversary, Tessa's 21st birthday, and, of course Dani beating leukemia.

Boulder, Colorado -- August 21 to August 27

Hot, hot, hot!
Visited with friends.

Trip 10 -- 2023
Centralia, Washington -- August 19 to August 20

We only made it to a few days of the 20th Annual Centralia Campout.

Trip 9 -- 2023
Boulder, Colorado -- July 30 to August 14

A pipe broke at the house in Boulder. What a mess!
31,000 gallons of water leaked into the house.

Trip 8 -- 2023
The West -- June 24 to July 16

We all went to Antioch, California for a family reunion with Dani's in-laws.
We spent a couple of nights at Carmel-by-the-Sea and Monterey.
On our way to Boulder, we spent a couple of nights in Truckee / Lake Tahoe.
We also visited Yosemite Valley.
Stopped in Reno on our way to Lake Sevier where Dani proposed to me!
Finally, we made it to Boulder!

Trip 7 -- 2023
Breitenbush, Oregon -- May 23 to May 24

Dani and I visited Breitenbush Hot Springs. We stayed in a brand-new, heated yurt.
Vegan meals, yoga, morning meditation and hot spring soaking galore.

Trip 6 -- 2023
Boulder, Colorado -- May 2 to May 15

Hosted the BAMFAM. Great music and lots of fun people.
Did some Spring gardening.
Visited with friends and neighbors I haven't seen for a while.

Trip 5 -- 2023
Seattle, Oregon -- April 12 to April 14

Viewed Honey Bee in Seattle. Great boat.
Visited with Ray and Barb on the way back.

Trip 4 -- 2023
Neskowin, Oregon -- March 24 to March 27

We spent time at Neskowin with Barry, Paula and Brooke.
Played lots of Mahjong.

Trip 3 -- 2023
Boulder, Colorado -- March 14 to March 21

Great visit with friends.
Got in some hiking. Realized I'm a low-lander now -- the air was so thin.

Trip 2 -- 2023
Salt Spring Island, BC -- March 7 to March 9

Viewed the boat Hot Rum.
Visited with Raym and Barb on the way back to Portland.

Trip 1 -- 2023
Boulder, Colorado -- January 24 to February 2

Great visit with friends.
It was incredibly cold with a low of -9 degrees one night.
